The Navi Mumbai police uncovered a plot to kill the actor during their investigation disclosing a video call conversation between Lawrence Bishnoi gang member Ajay Kashyap and another accused.
On Tuesday, Gujar was produced in a Mumbai court, which extended his police custody for three more days.
The accused made the video on a highway in Rajasthan and uploaded it on his channel.
The majority of these calls originate from foreign-based gangsters or their associates, using Voice Over Internet Protocol or international phone numbers, they said.
A few days later, three members of the Bishnoi gang delivered a letter threatening Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan, police had said.
According to police, Lakhwinder Singh was nabbed from Sarai Kale Khan on September 24, and Gurjeet was apprehended near ISBT Kashmiri Gate on October 13.
Gangster Sachin Bishnoi, who was allegedly involved in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, was extradited from Azerbaijan and brought back to India on Tuesday, officials of the Delhi police said.
